Dr. Janessa Chambers, ND is a naturopathic doctor, passionate about person-to-person individualized medicine and the vast potential for benefit that naturopathic medicine has to offer. Dr. Chambers utilizes her knowledge and skills to navigate and support patients along their journeys toward better health, wellness, and living out more vibrant, purposeful, and fulfilling lives.
Dr. Chambers treats patients of all ages in her general family practice. She works with patients, meeting them where they’re at, in addressing lifestyle factors and managing stress. Cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, to name a few, are all addressed with an individualized evidence informed practice approach to health. Dr. Chambers holds a special interest in treating women’s health concerns, stress management and adrenal support, treating patients inflicted by endocrine dysfunction, and helping those of whom are wanting to lose weight and optimize body composition.
Dr. Chambers grew up in the country, outside of Stratford Ontario. She attended the University of Waterloo where she earned a Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a Pre-Health Professions Option, and then later went on to complete her four year Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). While attending CCNM she also studied homeopathy abroad in India, completing two courses through The Other Song-International Academy of Advanced Homeopathy.
Dr. Chambers interned at The Robert Schad Naturopathic clinic in Toronto as well as at Anishnawbe Health Toronto. Dr. Chambers is in good standing with The College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO), and is licensed to practice Naturopathic Medicine in Ontario. Dr. Chambers has also attained the College of Naturopaths of Ontario post-registration Standard of Practice for Prescribing and is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
In her spare time, Dr. Chambers loves to stay active and enjoys playing tennis. Health, wellness, and living out our vibrant best selves is important to her and she is honored to play a part in you being your vibrant self.
