No Time for Breakfast? No problem.
Start your day with these protein bites or have them as a snack!
They are:
- easy to make
- high in protein
- low in carbs
- will keep you feeling full and energized
Ingredients:
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup protein powder – I used Pure Paleo beef protein which we have at our office
1/3 cup of coconut flour
1 Tbsp of maple syrup
2 Tbsp dark chocolate chips
4 Tbsp almond milk
Mix together, roll into balls (in a little extra unsweetened coconut, if you like!) and place in the freezer!
Here’s how mine turned out:
It only takes about 5min to make 12!
Could there please be a “printable” option for each recipe? I did not see it on the page.
Sounds healthy good!
What else can you use instead of coconut flour?
Hi Barbara – You can also use almond flour…you can find that at any health food store, and I have even seen it at costco!
Thanks Robin!
I had to add more almond milk because it was very very dry. I think I will use almond flour instead of coconut because for me it lacked flavor.
