Summer Salsa

Who doesn’t love salsa! With so many other condiments being high in sugar, salsa could be one of my favourite flavouring agents for foods.


Try this on fish, as a side for eggs or on a burger. Better yet, take this to your next summer party and impress your guests.  You obviously can serve this with corn chips, but a healthier option is to use celery or cucumbers as your delivery device.



1 cup of chopped watermelon

1 cup of chopped cantaloupe

1 cup of chopped tomatoes

½ cucumber seeded and chopped

¼ red onion chopped

½ avocado chopped

2 Tbsp of minced cilantro

The juice from 2 limes

Sea salt and ground pepper
Combine all of the ingredients together and enjoy
